Role:

Inga McVicar: Marketing and PR Coordinator for all 26 branches of Waterstone's (HMV Group) in Ireland, Northern Ireland, north-east England and Scotland

Remit: 

• Reactive and proactive PR (including spokesperson, print and broadcast)

• Securing of high-profile authors and celebrities for public events

• Devising and co-ordinating strategies in view of competitor activities

• Producing promotional materials

• Launching new branches

• Working with partners to co-ordinate joint promotions and activities

• Localise and regionalise central promotions and incentives
